The new design for the Solid River Cajon

Today was finally the day. A new Solid River Cajon is created. After gluing two oak planks together, I was able to put the plank on the CNC. The previously drawn design was milled into the wood by the CNC. Such a CNC is a fine thing, I am thrilled. After the machine time, all the milling channels have to be cleaned from the fine wood chips. Then the next step is to pour in the epoxy resin. Now it’s time to wait, at least 48 hours. This is the part I don’t like. I’ll show you the result in the next post.
