Das soll eine Premium Cajon werden?
So sieht die Premium Cajon nach dem Ausgießen mit Epoxidharz aus, eine ganz schöne Sauerei ist das. So schön das Endergebnis auch ist, der Weg dorthin ist schon recht aufwendig. Die schöne Textur im gehärteten Harz ist nur bedingt ein Zufallsprodukt. Der richtige Zeitpunkt ist entscheidend! Würde man das Harz / Pigmentgemisch einfach nach dem eingießen aushärten lassen, würden sich die Pigmente einfach in der langen Aushärtephase gleichmäßig auf dem Boden absetzen. Das Ergebnis wäre recht langweilig. Um Leben in das Endprodukt, sprich Textur in das Harz zu bekommen muss man das Harz im richtigen Moment nochmals durchrühren. Jetzt bleibt diese Rührstruktur / Muster im Harz und härtet aus. Das Ergebnis ist ein dreidimensionaler Effekt, mit starker Tiefenwirkung, je nach Lichteinfall.

This is what the Premium Cajon looks like after being filled with epoxy resin – it’s quite a mess. As beautiful as the end result is, getting there takes quite a bit of effort. The beautiful texture in the cured resin is only partly a product of chance. The right timing is important! If the resin / pigment mixture were simply allowed to cure after pouring, the pigments would simply settle evenly on the floor during the long curing phase. The result would be quite boring. To get life into the final product, i.e. texture into the resin, you have to stir the resin again at the right moment. Now this stirring structure / pattern remains in the resin and hardens. The result is a 3D effect with a strong depth effect, depending on the incidence of light.
