Seit dem Jahr 2000 ist Stefan Emmerich der kreative Kopf hinter tres lados, einem Unternehmen, das sich auf die Herstellung von hochwertigen Premium Cajons und Snare Drums spezialisiert hat. Stefan hat von Anfang an sein Augenmerk auf die höchste Qualität gerichtet und hatte bereits früh Kontakt zu Profimusikern, die ihm viel über Cajons beibrachten. Dank seiner Ausbildung als Fluggerätmechaniker ist er in der Lage, sich schnell in neue Materialien und Techniken einzudenken, was ihm dabei hilft, die Entwicklung seiner Instrumente kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Für die Herstellung seiner Cajons verwendet Stefan ausschließlich beste, von ihm einzeln ausgewählte Hölzer wie Ahorn, Esche oder Eiche, sowie Plattenmaterialien. Allerdings hat er auch das Know How Materialien wie den Hightechwerkstoff Epoxidharz mit Holz zu verbinden und so nie dagewesene Instrumente zu fertigen. Jedes Instrument wird von ihm farblich gestaltet, indem er verschiedene Beiztechniken, Airbrush und hochwertige Lacke verwendet. Since 2000, Stefan Emmerich has been the creative mind behind tres lados, a company specializing in the production of high-quality cajons and snare drums. From the beginning, Stefan has focused his attention on the highest quality and had early contact with professional musicians who taught him a lot about cajons. Thanks to his training as an aircraft mechanic, he is able to quickly learn new materials and techniques, which helps him to continuously improve the development of his instruments. For the production of his cajons, Stefan uses only the best woods, individually selected by him, such as maple, ash or oak, as well as plate materials. However, he also has the know-how to combine materials such as the high-tech material epoxy resin with wood to produce unprecedented instruments.
